Where are the straight modular gears with a shield used?

Gear wheels are used in mechanisms that enable the transmission of rotational or sliding motion without sliding by means of teeth located on the circumferences of two cooperating elements. They are available in both disc and hub versions. They work with special toothed racks used by construction machines such as cranes. Straight modular gears with a disc are used, among others in the construction of internal combustion engines. from the crankshaft, and more precisely from its disc with a ring, transfer the driving force and the change of torque for starting to the wheels of the car through the gearbox. The meshing of the mating gear elements causes the rotational motion and drive to be transferred from one gear to the other. These types of solutions can be found in passenger cars, trucks, construction and agricultural machinery.
